Strange symptoms today.

This morning I felt like my throat was closing, had pain in my left arm and jaw, cold sweats and nausea. Has anyone else experienced this. It lasted for about an hour.

Hi there, you need to go and have a check up, I know it is the week-end but perhaps go to the walk in or even casuatly for the once over! You need to tell somebody straight away re the jaw, left arm etc... these can be symptoms of a heart a bit stressed, please go and check it out. Mary F x

I agree with Mary.

Whatever is causing this could be something other than thyroid - and we cannot possibly know enough, nor can we do things like physically check you.

Dear Mia, I hope that by the time you've read my reply you have already been to the doctors or hospital as it sounds like you're listing the symptoms of a heart attack: minniepauz.com/women-heart-...

I'll pray for you now. Lots of love xxx

Heart Attack Signs in Women

1.Uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of your chest. It lasts more than a few minutes, or goes away and comes back.

2.Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.

3.Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort.

4.Other signs such as breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness.

5.As with men, women’s most common heart attack symptom is chest pain or discomfort. But women are somewhat more likely than men to experience some of the other common symptoms, particularly shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting and back or jaw pain.

If you have any of these signs, don’t wait more than five minutes before calling for help. Get to a hospital right away.

Yes seemingly I was having an angina attack strange because I had no chest pain so didn't recognise it.

I was diagnosed with angina after an angiogram, symptoms were breathlessness, slight discomfort in my arm but never had any pain. Have they given you meds and referred you to a Cardiologist?
