Blurred vision in right eye...

I am recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I am going for a MRI n Wednesday to rule out a pituitary tumour as I have high prolactin. Yesterday I felt a bit out of sorts and noticed when reading that it was a bit blurry, I covered each eye and its the right eye that's out, not sharp and fuzzy. Wondered if anyone else had this symptom? I had my eyes tested a few months so and they were fine, I don't wear glasses.

I still have a lot to learn but eye problems are common with hypothyroidism. I've had blurred vision but it was in both eyes. Turned out to be low B12. Do you see scurrying black dots from this eye?

I had the same thing and had tests for pituitay tumor. NEGATIVE. Turns out it was a migraine that did not fully develop. Thank GOD! Good luck!!

Interesting. I also have this - in my right eye only and usually when I'm tired. I also have low B12 and am now supplementing.

I had eye probs , I was getting irregular blank spot in one eye, and blurred vision, then I developed blurred and then double vision, in left eye, still said eye migraine, had to phone every day till he referred me, MRI showed inflammatory lesions on my 6th cranial nerve causing a palsy! I was diagnosed with extreme hypothyroidism! Tell your doctor about your blurred vision! 6th cranial nerve is very long and often effected with all manner of inter cranial problems! Make sure yours in imaged appropriately when you have your MRI and you should have contrast to see if anthing enhances! Mine were the size of pin heads and could have been missed! test your nerve by holding a pen in front of your nose and moving it from side to side, while resting your head to keep it absolutely still- and check for double vision if its only in one eye then it could be your cranial nerve! your dr could test all your cranial nerves! Dead simple! Give them a ring! Good luck tomorrow!
