T3 Only or adding a little T4

Hi, I have been taking T3 only for about 4 months. My t4 blood test result was below 5.2(9-19.1) T3 was 8.34(3.6-6.5) and TSH 2.19.35-4.94) Does anybody think it might be worth trying a little T4 again as I am really struggling? Thanks

why did you go on T3 only? If you can't convert your T4 to T3 then adding T4 will just make you toxic... so how do you FEEL? what is your basal temperature.. if it's low you're still hypo.. your TSH is't optimally low for a treated patient but if you're T3 only and didn't take it for 48 hours before your test, that would explain it...

so ignore your results a minute and check your temperature every few hours over a couple of days.. if it's low like 97.9 or lower just before you take your T3 and then gets up to 98.6 afterwards then your T3 is working. if your temperature never gets up to 98.6 you need more T3 and if it goes up to over 98.6 (and you're not ovulating) then you're taking too much or you need to break it into little bits and spread it out more in the day
