I notice that the members number has increased ! I for one have re-joined in an attempt to get onto the site at the beginning of the changeover - and I wonder how many more did ? So probably not a true figure ! I then saw on the main Thyroid UK the advice that we should not re-join ! Too late she cried ! Am sure an adjustment can be made if it is the case ! Computers and their workings are of course way beyond me !

I have asked them about this - we think there may be a glitch with it! :(

When the site is running smoothly you could contact support and ask them to delete the duplicate 'avatar'. At present they are very busy sorting out any problems as they arise. I think at the moment the 'I want to delete my account' option is not available but maybe at some stage there will be that option to do it yourself, so long as you keep a note of the username and password you uses to create the duplicate account.

If you log in to the account you want to delete and click on your username in the green bar and then Account there is an option to delete account. It looks greyed out but if you click on it, it gives options to unsubscribe from emails or delete the account.

Thanks guys - we're looking into this. All of these observations are very useful (you're all the eyes and ears spotting the issues the controlled tests didn't). Notifications will be back soon which will boost up the activity again
