How accurate is the b12 test?

Dec 2012 my b12 was 252 so after advice started supplementing with 1000mcg had my bloods retested Apr 2013 it was very high not sure of the result but doctor told m to stop taking the tablets and have a retest in 2 weeks which I did the results then were 354.

Since then I have not taken any more tablets had a retest at the beginning of June when I had my thyroid function tested and it was 695.

Considering the fact I'm not a big red meat eater is the b12 test really very accurate?

I know there is an different test but these results seem a little flawed or is there more to it?
