im on 10mg propranolol for anxiety and ive just been put on 25mg levo are these ok to take together?

i usually took the propranolol in the morning but i now take it at night since i startes takin levo in the morning is this ok?

Propranolol does have modest effect on thyroid hormones. But probably not significant at that dose. So nothing to worry about.

And I agree with taking them at separate times.

You do have the option of taking levothyroxine at bed-time. Have a look at the responses here:

I think that your anxiety is probably tied up to your thyroid gland and that when on optimum medication you will feel much better.

I hope your GP increases your levo soon as 25mcg is a very small dose.You should have a blood test in about 4 weeks. When you have blood tests, always get a copy complete with the ranges for your own records and so that you can post them here if you have a query.

The aim is to have a TSH 1 or below but some GP's keep you within 'the reference range' so we have to read and learn as much as we can so that we know more than them (more's the pity).
