Vit d test/wording on full blood test

Hi

Keep reading that you must have the vitamin d 25 hydroxyvitamin test. My test just said serum vit d. Is this the same. Have I had the right test?

Also under Serum Iron tests lab calls it serum transferrin. Is this the same as ferritin that I keep seeing mentioned? Ferritin isn't mentioned anywhere?

It's all bit confusing when your not used to interpreting bloods!

Thank you
