What is going on

I have been on levothyroxine for about 9 years, & taking 125mcg for almost a year, taken last thing at night. I ran out on Friday & for various reasons couldn't pick up my new prescription from the chemist. Took nothing on Saturday, & on Sunday morning started on Nutri Thyroid.

After increasingly feeling worse the last three years especially, the last two days I have more energy no breathlessness & a clear head. What is going on?
