Blocked lymph system

Just been to have my first ever lymphatic drainage massage from local, really talented, sensitive lady and had quite a shock. She basically said my body was thick with blocked lymph. She had to keep stopping and drinking water and said by the end she could have just laid dwn and slept for a year (know how that feels!) Not because it was hard work as the massage is feather like strokes but she picks up and mirrors back what is going on. I know my arms are quite puffy, etc particularly my forearms but I have just been putting that down to carrying a bit of extra weight.

Obviously I'm going to do my homework but does anyone have any suggestions food wise or otherwise? Also, I need to drink more water but it just goes straight through me and I feel it isn't replenishing my cells. I read somewhere that when you have adrenal fatigue you also are deeply dehydrated but no amount of water will hydrate you. Any suggestions there?

She was very mindful of thyroid issues and didn't want to do too much as I have hashi and this particular massage really boosts the immune system.

Would love some advice please!!!!!

  • Hi ,i have a blocked lymph system too ! Were you advised to get this done? And ,can you tell me how often you would need to get this done ? And did you feel better after it ? Also ,i am interested also as to why this lymph build- up happens ?I too have Hashimoto's ,and have been looking into the Paleo diet,i wonder if this would help ? Also ,i heard swimming helps?
