Hi when and saw my gp last week as had been suffering badly with numbness in hands plus legs as well she got me to have my blood test done to test my TSH , T4 , T3 , FOLATE , B12 and a few others but can not remember , I just phoned my surgery and these are the results that I got given and was told that they have written to my endo regarding the results .
I am only on T3 20mcg 3 times a day I have had a total thyroidectomy back in 2011 due to cancer .
TSH is at target of 0 or as close too
T4 IS LOW AT 3.0 WHEN IT SHOULD BE BETWEEN 9.0 AND 23.0
MY SERUM FREE TRIIODOTHYRONINE LEVEL IS HIGH AT 7.5 WHEN IT SHOULD BE BETWEEN 3.5 AND 6.5
Could someone please help me as I don't understand them and now I worried
Many Thanks x

I'd say your blood tests look as I would expect for someone on T3 only. Medicines containing T3 suppress TSH, even when not enough is being taken (in my experience but I'm not medically trained). T4 is a storage hormone, so if you are taking T3, which is the active hormone, your thyroid won't need to make any T4, so often this is 0 too. I think it is normal for T3 to be above range, depending on when you took your last dose in relation to your test. xx
Hi Lots missing and you must have proper ranges and results, ask the receptionist, routine.Sounds like low B12.?Those you have T4 very low, essential to have Free T3 too for thyroid, unless you are on just T3???.Just be sure to have treatment ,see a good endo otherwise,
