Approximately 6 weeks ago I had a B12 blood test. It came back with a level of 913ng/L range (191 - 663). My GP requested a repeat but the lab refused to re-test because it had recently been done. The lab report identified it as above range but no need for action. Should I be concerned? My GP doesn't seem concerned.

No, you don't need to be concerned. Are you supplementing? Vit B12 is not stored and excess is excreted in the urine.
Some people who are getting B12 injections can have up to 2,000 in their blood tests.
