I haven't got a clue!
anyone wants to shed some light on this subject? I am sure that there are a few people who wonder.
my TSH result was 3.33 but there was no box for that so i ticked 5-10
Hi annamaria just saw your tsh results. . My results were 3.58 and dr said I am normal.. can you tell me what part of the country your in and what dr diagnosed you? You can email me on emmajane74.ej@gmail.com if you like, many thanks, Emma
My TSH at diagnosis was 150 !
My TSH at diagnosis 13 years ago was 'above 10' it is now down below 5 after taking 100mcg Levothyroxine all this time. I still get symptoms though and am treated for depression as my doc still says that nothing needs adjusting as I'm 'in the normal range'
10.2 and 5.11
I was first tested in my family planning clinic - TSH was 10.2
Went to see a GP 10 days later in order to be prescribed meds - TSH was then 5.11
Boths tests were around the same time of day. My Ft4 only varied slightly. I have hashi's. Goes to show TSH fluctuates quite quickly.
how do i post a question on here
My TSH level is 16.9 but am not on any medication yet. I have just had thyroid antibody tests carried out and am waiting on the results, hopefully I will get these within the next 2 weeks then I can go back and see my GP and discuss the next step.
My first TSH level was so high they couldn't record it!!!
No wonder I felt like the living dead!!
i went to the gp for my thyroid to be checked, and was told my thyroid was 7.5, the highest its ever been for me, and all the doctor seems to focus on that i was weeping and put me on antidepressants. now im still left feeling sleepy, low, weepy etc and still dont know what to do about it, im sick of feeling like this !!
When I was first diagnosed, at 17, my TSH was either 44 or 46 (can't remember exactly!). It was 10 times what it should've been and I wasn't aware of any symptoms except digestion problems...not until I realised what life was like 'on the other side'. After being treated I went straight up to Brilliant Town..and then shooting back down to the same TSH. That major shock to the system was when I noticed all the symptoms and finally made the connections to how much hypothyroidism had affected me before I was diagnosed.
I am really surprised to find that 47% of people's TSH's were between 5 and 10. Is this really when you were first diagnosed???
My DD's TSH at diagnosis was 647.
My TSH at diagnosis was 14.97.
my tsh was 6.20 at diagnosis its now 0.89 after a year on meds t4 still bit low,my doc doesnt test t3.
My,tsh,is 0'09,and t417'4,the group have told me this way to low, feeling like,i don't be long here, symptoms are just like what it was when first diagnosed,2yrs ago,and was treated for sinus,a virus, eye infections, the list goes on,it took the eye specialist to diagnose, thyrotoxicosis, had a good six months, now it all started again, and could, not make work this week, make's you look stupid, when no-one understands, lets hope i get results tomorrow,
TSH was 28.99 at diagnosis and was only found out cos i was such a zombie i begged the gp to test for all the tiredness related problems and then this flagged up - god forbid if it was higher!
my tsh was 2.09 should i be worried that there isnt a box to tick lol!
my tsh was over 100 but I don't know what
I was very sick with typical chronic hypo symptoms and my DR had told me I was depressed and tried to write me a script for ADs
I insisted they run some blood tests as I knew there was something seriously wrong. He begrudgingly agreed telling me I would be back for the anti depressents. My TSH was 255 !!! Ridiculously high and if I had not of of insisted on a blood test my endo said I would have probably gone into a coma within weeks. So glad I did not listen to that stupid DR!!
Less than 5 but not an option! - with a knowledgable GP who looked at my T3 & T4 too.
You have to be hypo to answer this poll. My TSH is non-existent.
My TSH was 178.15 (0.3-5.6) and T4 6 (9-21) and my experiences with my GP were much the same as redjay.I was offered ADs 7 times and refused them. I also have a problem with vit B12 and was diagnosed deficient with a level of 101.
Last one taken Feb 19th. GP said there was a new range now 3.5 - 4.5 Mine was 0.04. Gp said this was a very normal result. FT4 was 20
Last time I had my TSH checked it was 1.50 so I ticked 5-10.
