I have acid reflux since two years and recently been diagnosed woth IBS and i am under medication. But since 2-3 days i have been having this upper abdomen discomfort along with pain and it also makes my back pain and cause discomfort. I feel like its gas trapped which causes this. I feel an uneasy feeling in the upper abdomen like vomiting kind but it's not that severe. Sometimes this pain doesn't let me sleep nor stand.
What could this be?

These are clssic symptoms of reflux. Pain in chest, under ribs, and back. Sometimes the pain goes into your shoulder as well. I've had all these symptoms. Taking ppi's like omeprazole help, but still get it sometimes anyway.
Firstly i assume you have already spoken to your Doctor....who can arrange tests etc if these is getting out of hand.
Yes the upper digestive area will produce all those symptoms.It could be gastritis, or reflux.Producing lots of air means you are getting a reaction during digestion process.This can be due to yeast and sugar...or poor stomach enzymes not breaking food down.Low stomach acid (Sibo)As you can see it is going to take some deeper thinking to rule out cause and effect.Dont make the common mistake and opt for PPI's ...this will just mask the problem and prevent natural healing.
Question....Have you recently finished a course of antibiotics?
If so then the answer is to replace the healthy bacteria via probiotics.This will fix bloating issues within three days.My go to is to use Aloe Vera with digestive enzymes.(Optima) (Amazon) This sooths inflamation...and helps the food to break down by giving the stomach a liitle break.
Reflux is different....this is when the stomach acid is too low....and stops the top valve (les) from fully shutting.The answer isnt antiacids...its dgl liqourice..leafy greens...spinach...apple cider vinegar..restores normal acid levels enough to get the valve to shut....takes a week or two ...sleep propped up...no food two/three hours before bed.
Finally get checked for H.Pylori...breath test ...doctor...this often creates issues in flareups....natural way to fix this again weak solution of apple cider vinegar...or a clove.raw garlic.Green bananas dont digest in the stomach but make their eay down lower to allow the probiotic to feed...porridge too.
Avoid yeasty things and sugar....and alcohol....fodmap diet in severe cases.
Cramping pains can be settle with aloe vera...but also consider...slippery elm bark...this coats everything with a thin layer of clean mucus...and settles down most issues....that occur anywhere along the route.
Also issues with gallbladder can cause the same things...but often produces constipation too.
If none of the above help you must seek your Doctors opinion.
