I have GERD for two years now and there is a slight pain on my left side below the rib cage but it doesn't seem to be the organ pain, I feel like its the skin inside which pains whenever i get acidity and it follows till the down left side of my belly button.
What could this be?

I have GERD and in the last 3 weeks I’ve also had pain in my left side under rib that comes and goes, it’s no painful but just uncomfortable. I had endoscopy done about 1month ago and everything was fine. Doctor also told me is acid reflux. I just think it’s weird to feel “acid reflux” in that lower left side, I guess our stomach is down there as well.
I am not taking any medication —- the medications that doctors give is to lower acid in our stomachs when in reality the majority of people don’t have enough acid and therefore I would rather try to heal with natural herbs, watch my diet and change my habits. I’ve been drinking alovera juice and making my own cabbage juice and stopped eating fried and acidic foods. I have good days and not so good days with Acid reflux but I know it’s a journey and it’s going to take time. The left side pains comes and goes so I hope it will get better soon. I must say I also suffer from anxiety and I worry excessively and this does not help me.
