Can someone please help me. Any suggestions to ease bloating. I only ever really used to bloat around the time of the month but it’s seems like I’m constantly bloated. I look abkut 5 months pregnant all the time. I can’t wear any nice clothes and it’s really starting to make me feel so down. Any suggestions x

Have you tried prebiotic?

Try probiotics and cutting gluten from your diet. I have tried the intermittent fasting as well. If it doesn’t change bloating you must go to gp . They are going to offer you these things first anyway, so if you try them beforehand you may get more tests from gp

Do you have any other symptoms other than bloating? Have you been diagnosed with IBS?

I have been taking Bimuno prebiotic powders for months. I've also been eating a gluten free, lactose free, low FODMAP diet for months. But I was put on 7 different medications following a heart attack in August and I have suffered painful bloating ever since!

HI i also suffered from extreme bloating, I use a centric coated peppermint oil capsules, such as Culpermin, the coating ensures that the oil reaches the the intestine where it is needed, rather than breaking down in the stomach.

I also take Aloe Vera Juice before meals to aid digestion and calm down any inflation in the gut.

Hope that you will find this helpful

Wish you well.

Hi, I have the same issues that you describe. I watched the super helpful video on IBS on the nhs website by 2 dieticians. I have just started 2 weeks avoiding Gluten. It’s early but I think it’s helping. Give it a watch and see if it Helps you x

Hi,

Back a while ago i was experiencing loads of bloating etc & I phoned by GP and they recon it could have been IBS.

However, it turned out to be coeliac disease & my GE said the bloating could be a imbalance of Bacteria in the guts and told me to have actimel everyday which helped until recently.

Also, it could be something to do with your stomach acid, I have been doing extensive research into this as I am currently going through it.

Have a look at symptoms for Low/High stomach acid and talk to your doctor about it?

You should get bloating checked. It could be serious

I take digestive enzymes with each meal, I cut out lactose (you can buy lacto-free milk, cheese and butter) and I am anaemic which I think possibly caused my severe bloating.

I’m finally getting less bloated.

Magnesium Citrate is excellent if you feel bloated and gassy too.

Peppermint oil, Apple Cider Vinegar and Hydrochloric Acid failed to work for me.

I avoided bad foods on the IBS list such as white flour products, onions, garlic and cabbage.

I now keep a food diary to know what sets me off!
