Well, yesterday I wrote asking if anyone else had experience with Viberza medicine...particularly anyone without a gallbladder. My doc prescribed this med for me even though I have no gallbladder and I’m not supposed to take the med according to the pharmaceutical packet and the FDA. Of course, being too excited by the possibility of an answer to my IBS-D, I took a pill right out of the gate. Here I am alive, so far. The Viberza did seem to give me indigestion, bloating, and a hard bloated round stomach. It’s 12 hours since I took the pill and my stomach still feels hard and bloated. Even if I wasn’t worried about pancreatitis, I would be leery of this medicine for the side effects I am experiencing. It was a hard sleep last night. I’m so disappointed. I really wanted an answer.

You should have your doctor prescribe you either Welchol or Colestipol...these drugs are wonderful, and stop diarrhea in it's nasty tracks!
