I was told by a Gastro yes you can-I just get the standard Imodium from the chemist
Tell your doctor to prescribe Welchol or Colestipol for your diarrhea. Either of these will stop diarrhea in it's tracks. I take 6 (3 - 2x a day) and I've not had diarrhea since...and believe me, I had it so bad I wouldn't make it to the loo many, many times!
Immodium AD (Loperamide) can cause Constipation. This is not something (says on box) to take daily..only occasionally. Have you tried Bentyl or Levsin? They have to be prescribed. They stop stomach cramping..
