Ibs & acne

Since been told i have ibs about three years ago i started to develop mild acne on my cheeks and jaw line too. Never had problems with my skin before this. I don’t know if the two are linked in any way. Just wondering if anyone else had the same situation?

Yes! I too have started to suffer with spots more so on my jawline and neck? I thought mine was linked to the mini pill, but maybe it is IBS? I've tried an antibiotic for my face but it hasn't helped! I'm 40 and feel like I'm a teenager again!! Haha!! Xx

I have some on my forehead, too old for acne! I think it might be associated with the constipation i have with ibs

Hi have you tried Acidophilus for constipation? From Holland and Barrett. Good luck

Yeah it is not nice and been trying everything to clear it for years. Tried creams and lotions from doctors. I just wanted to see if anyone had it to. As i have had a look online and it says its possible the two could be linked.

Yes me too. I get lots of tiny bump-like spots all over my face, which I'm told is a sign of poor digestion (no surprises there!).

Yes!! Not acne but when i started getting ibs symptoms i also got hives itchy skin and pssoarisis?

When i went to a alergist he said give up gluten for 6 weeks see what happens and i did and it all went ?

When i went back he told me it was bodies way of telling me i had a intolerance but u have to eliminate what it is but it usually gluten yeast or dairy
