Hi,
I really need some advice for the current problem i am having. I have gone to two out of hours doctors in the last two days and they have pointed out the same problem and that is inflammation of my top stomach lining.
I have pain at the middle but bottom of my ribcage but towards the left when breathing in. It feels like a stabbing pain and gets worse/better at times depending on the position i am in. No chest pain, no pain when eating, no vomiting no dark/bloody stools, no cough. Just the usual reflux and tiny bit of burping and hesitation at times when breating cause of the pain at times.
I have had problems with reflux in the last year which has annoyed me plus a cough that comes after eating. I used to have alot of fullness but that problem is up and down plus other ibs symptoms. I put this down before to my anxiety, weight, eating habits and lifestyle choices. I was about 15 stone, never ate breakfast but sugary fatty foods. I have changed all of this in the last six months and over 3 stone.
In the last month I have been having problems with my kidney pain and other things urine related but no uti. Last time it was liver inflammation out of nowhere and pelvic. I have had days where i have not eaten that much because of discomfort and have noticed stabbing pains in my stomach when i started eating again but would dissapear after a couple of days.
This week I have had these pains randomly even though i have been eating more regularly compared to the week before which i had not and was burping through only drinking water. The night before i had this pain when breathing in, i had eaten a burger two hours before sleeping and woke up with this situation. Could this have caused this? Has anyone had anything similar? Could this be an ulcer?
The doctors adviced me to take omeprazole but I want to check for h.pylori infection. I have checked for this before but it was at the same time i had checked for coeliac disease. They both came back negative but i remember two doctors telling me one had only come back negative as there was not enough stool to test from. I have done a blood test for coeliac came back negative too.
I just need some advice any would be helpful. Thank you.
