You could do with a scan to confirm I BS because it could be something entirely different. One thing I DO know is its dreadful! I was "diagnosed" with IBS for 3 years. It turnsout I have a thickening of the bowel wall.probably need an op soon.x
Best thing to do is treat yourself kindly - have lots of fluids and eat a little when you can just plain rice and vegetables if you can while your gut system is getting better. If it persists go back to your doc or try to get a home visit, Hoping you get well soon. x
