Moviprep

Having a colonoscopy tomorrow at 10am, really struggling with moviprep, iv managed first lot but can’t keep down second dose, any advice would be appreciated

I sympathise, I had the same problem a few months back. Contact the clinic as soon as you can and let them know what's happening. It's great that you managed the first dose and that will help them out a lot. When you phone them, the receptionist will talk to one of the nurses who will likely tell you they'll do a colonic upon your arrival. They may ask you to come in a bit earlier.

Poor you I couldn’t tolerate it I threw it up and got all hot and itchy

I rang and they wouldn’t do the procedure so be warned I then took picolax in hospital over. Night

Much better as less to drink

I just had one and had moviprep too. I was only able to do the first dose as well. I kept throwing up the second round (I was even in the hospital at the time of my colonoscopy and they tried everything..) As long as you are no longer passing stool and what you’re passing is clear you should be good to go.

i added lime cordial to mine along with ice which helped
