Constipation!

Hello. I'm new here.

A bit of a back story about me : I went to the Dr last February about constant constipation. It's become so normal for me to be constipated. 2017 has just been Dr visits and in August I had a colonoscopy where they took two biopsies. I am still waiting for the results.

I sometimes suffer a "gas attack". This is when I go to bed and wake up with horrendous gas pain which feels like I'm in labour. It takes about forty minutes in the bathroom where the hard stool come out eventually followed by a stream of diarrhoea.

I took Laxido in April which worked really well and I was going for bowel movements twice a day sometimes. Never had a problem with laxido. But it's the third day and I've not had a BM and I'm taking my usual one a day Laxido sachet.

I'm so so so fed up with this rubbish! Does this mean my body has got used to the Laxido?? Thank you

Me too, I was advised I could take up to 3 Laxido a day, we are all different so do give your doc a call to ask, also, demand to get your results, they will have been with your GP for ages I should think. Good Luck

I also have Ibs-d for years no answers after a colonoscopy the Dr. Said Ibs-d he isnt big on meds so he said take Metamucil daily. A small cup of water with a tablespoon of powder. It took a few days to get my system right but i feel a whole lot better. Its been almost 6 months and ive only had a few bad days. I recently switched to the fiber pills only because i dont care for the drink. I take 3 in morning and 3 at night. I realize all people are different. But its worth a shot. I also eat a fiber bar throughout the day. Anyway i hope this helps you. I know how u feel and i hate that we all have to go through this!!!

I forgot to mention i also take pepermint leaves capsules daily.
