Yes I have this, I take Questran for it. I still get diarrhoea once a week and have to take Imodium but it used to be every day.

Hi! yes I have BAM and I take two tablets three times a day with my food. The medication is called Colesevelam my consultant had to talk to my GP as this medicine is not licensed to treat the condition in the UK. I have to also follow a low fat diet (40 gms fat per day). Before I was diagnosed I was having terrible watery diarrhoea. I had radiotherapy for cervical cancer 25 Year’s ago and have suffered ever since with bowel problems on a daily basis. I also take Imodium when I have to travel as my bowels are so unpredictable. I find the hardest thing is not knowing if I’m going to have a good or bad day. Being near a loo is a necessity for me!
