Symptoms are back....😭

Hi guys

I had a colon/ endo 6 weeks ago & started FODMAP. Been on the diet for 2 weeks under guidance of a dietician. Was going really well; symptoms had gone & bowels moving everyday (I have IBS C & biopsies showed chrones) Symptoms returned on Tuesday & hadn't moved my bowels for 3 day; went today after taking 3 movicol sachets. Fed up & wondering if anyone else has experienced similar flare ups with no obvious trigger?

Unfortunately I think this is just the nature of the beast so to speak. I'm not following the FODMAP diet but am finding that some foods affect me some times and not others.

Sorry I can't be of any help

Have a think about non food triggers - stress/anxiety, hormones, heat/weather etc I find these sometimes affect my IBS x

Hi

I reckon the hot weather, anxiety and stress are definitely triggers for me ... does anyone have flare ups of left lower back pain too?

Never a back pain. Only spasms on the left side which slowly move down the colon
