Newly Diagnosed

A few months ago I was diagnosed with IBS and I wanted to know more, I have also had further problems and i had procedure 3 days ago to ascertain what is actually wrong if anything and I have been told that I have Diverticular disease so I decided to do some research into the disease, because I have been a support worker in the past and the knowledge is always useful to understand how others are affected by personal issues I have met other people I know well who have IBS, but I cannot say their names due to confidentiality. Anyone who has advice to share with me that can be shared with other people would be appreciated (avoid personal details) please
