have ibs for years now gives me a low left side pain but recently had excruciating pain upper right side ,incs fluttering and squeezing

have had my gall bladder out could it be something to do with that,fed up now ,tired all the time ,cant eat without bloating

susan I sympathize with you as I myself feel that too. Its terrible. My pain can last weeks and months. The fluttering is occasional and at times such a deep twisting pain it wakes me in my sleep. How long does your discomfort last and do you feel any relief from it?

yes pain can last a month or more constantly sore i take codeine but this can cause constipation doc unsympathetic just says youve hurt your ribs but how ?have been 4/5 times to doc how am i hurting my ribs so often

I get pain like gall bladder pain if I take co codamol. It took me a while to realise that this was the cause and I was worried that a stone or something had been left in there after having my gall bladder removed.

I had my gallbladder taken out last April. I was warned I could experience pain in that area for upto 6 months after my op but wasn't told why. I still experience pain there on occasions and although I take painkillers and anti-inflammatories for other conditions, it doesn't help. The only thing that takes some of the pain away is a hot water bottle! My GP hasn't a clue why

i went back to my doc weeks later with pain and was told it was body memory?my gall blader removal was not straight forward ,somehow managed to open belly button incision to about 4inches wide was taken back to hosp ital to close it and have my bowel popped back in hole?,have been told of adhesion and scar tissue and the possibility of a stone being left behind?
