At the peak of my health anxiety I beat myself up for the way I felt, the words I expressed, and the blank way I approached life. I realized that It wasn't the strategies that were failing me, it was the story I kept telling myself about why I was suffering. Some reasons were that my father was verbally abusive, I wasn't given the same opportunities as others, and that god forgot about caring for me. When I replaced my story with a new one, one that moved me towards the direction I wanted my life to go things changed. My body language changed, and my strategies worked.
