PSA going up
So after being on lupron/
zytiga
for 2 years and having a PSA of <0.1, I stopped ADT last Feb. It took until about September for my testosterone to start to reappear. My PSA went up to 0.1 in September so about the same time my testosterone came back.

Szmulewitz,who ordered
Zytiga
which I sent that script to VA , and still waiting for delivery. I was going to use U of Chicago hub about 1 mile from my home compared to 50 miles to Illinois cyberknife for 25 days of IMRT .

Orgovyx vs Lupron
After 3 years on Lupron/
Zytiga
with undetectable PSA and otherwise doing well, I've developed atrial fibrillation. My MO is not giving me much guidance on the subject so a switch is strictly up to the patient.

Nivolumab+docetaxel trial
Hello, After ADT +
Zytiga
treatment, my cancer became castration-resistant. My MO suggested me to participate in Nivolumab/placebo + docetaxel trial, Phase 3. I checked the results of Phase 2, and, honestly, I was not very impressed with results.

Questions for 2nd Meeting with MO tomorrow about reaction to 2 months on Orgovyx and Zytiga
They did not require a new biopsy unlike Johns Hopkins , which wouldn’t treat me without a new biopsy. They are recommending Orgovyx for 18 months and
Zytiga
with prednisone for 24 months .

This is my christmas miracle!
I was prescribed xtandi and
zytiga
combo. It may be short lived, but I dont care, its amazing..... some of the quru's on this forum may be able to articulate the why, all I know is I feel better than I have in two years.

AR-V7 test
It supposedly can indicate whether
Zytiga
, Xtandi, or chemo would be most useful (or not) to a patient. I wondered if Medicare covers it. https://www.oncotypeiq.com/en-US/prostate-cancer/healthcare-professionals/oncotype-dx-ar-v7/about-the-test

Zytiga vs Casodex with Eligard for intermediate risk stage T3a, PSMA negative cancer, post RP (5/21) initial PSA 0.4, currently 0.79
I am curious as to why MO is choosing
zytiga
over casodex even though there is no evidence of metastasis at this time? He is recommending 24 months of ADT and possibly radiation. My father has been reluctant to initiate further treatment but will likely be starting soon.

2 years post Taxotere and ADT, PSA increased from .3 to .4 to .8 over the course of six months. Next best step?
Enroll in a trial with
Zytiga
and Fuzuloparib 3)
Zytiga
4) Taxotere for another 6 rounds (my suggestion because we have proof it worked so well) He just had a PET scan and there are no bones or organs involved:) What do you guys think? Thanks again and again for your insight, knowledge, and help!

Erleada, Zytiga, Xtandi and other 2nd Generation Hormone Therapies may be "Double Agents": BEWARE!!
See this MUST WATCH video by Dr Eugene Kwon starting at about the 7:35 minute mark for a an eye-opening discussion about "Paradoxical Responses to Therapy" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEToOBuca1Q . I was on Erleada and the exact thing happened to me. Even though I had a PSA of 0.2 recently a CT scan

My Oligometastatic Journey Update
The Lupron, the chemo, the dexamethasone, the IMRT, the
Zytiga
yes I guess it was a load in retrospect, but I knew what I had to do in order to do well with it. I have a great marriage, good friends and family, mostly great diet, spiritual life, work I love.
