suboxone podcast
I don’t know if it’s available everywhere, but The Atlantic magazine has a podcast called Radio Atlantic. They have a current series titled Scripts. The Aug 8 show is all about using buprenorphine (mainly suboxone) to treat Opioid addiction. Nothing new here, but it sheds a little light on why buprenorphine

Clonidine - success with RLS anyone?
Evening team I have a query. As some of you may remember I was prescribed Buprenorphine two years ago by a neurologist for my restless limbs. I have a feeling I may have asked this question before, maybe not in one of my posts, (can't remember!) Does anyone out there take Clonidine for RLS? if

Antidepressants and RLS
I may need to take an antidepressant and wondered which ones are compatible with RLS? I recently started taking Clonazepam after switching slowly off of gabapentin and I am having side effects from it that have created this mood change.

buprenorphine, pregablin, opiates
Hi all. In the ongoing battle to get things stable I have been able to decrease my buprenorphine to under .5mg sublingual (from 2mg) and pregablin to 100mg (from 225mg). RLS is mostly managed well which is terrific but I can't say that I feel much less tired overall having decreased dosages. Like

CBDA-enhanced topical cream/patch to be effective at alleviating RLS symptoms
Found this video about a Doctor who tapered off of opioid and ended up with restless leg syndrome as a result. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9_1maoFaJg She claims that a cream containing a mix of CBDA, CBD, Magnesium and other substances to enhance absorbability via the skin has been highly effective

I was taking Pramipexole for over 20 years with no warning of what it would do to my bank account with all the over spending I did. When I tried to come off it my Dr just took me straight off it much to my pain and suffering, needless to say I had to go back on it and am now trying to withdraw from it

Advice please
Hi, I’m new to this Restless Legs Syndrome forum. I have been really struggling with restless legs really bad. I have always had an unpleasant crawling/tickling sensation in my legs. I am on Mirtazapine and it has made my restless legs worse. I now cannot sleep unless I have paracetamol every night

Buprenorphine and methadone
Hi there everyone I am now seeing dr Stephen Gibson pain specialist and Anesthesiologist. Dr prof yee referred me to him for low dose opioids. I started on 5mg Buprenorphine patch- zero relief. He has added 5 mg methadone - instant relief. Any thoughts as to why the mix and not just the methadone?

Hubby's RLS
My husbands RLS has increased with age and his recent full knee replacement two years ago. We have been seeing an RLS/Sleep doctor from Johns Hopkins since last November and are on a slow journey to figure out which combinations of meds will help him. He was on 2 Horizant pills when we first saw him

Celexa
Hello, I have had RLS since my early 20's, (I'm 66). I am currently taking .5 Pramipexole and would like to begin weening off with the goal to stop taking it entirely. Has anyone been able to successfully return to Celexa after a break in taking it? I tried Wellbutrin and it did nothing for anxiety

Sun protection. Mineral sun lotion on a budget
Staying protected from UV rays is high on many peoples list this week, with layering and staying in the shade so important. I’ve read that mineral based sun lotion is better than chemical as it creates a barrier on your skin that reflects UV light so t hey don't absorb into the skin. Mineral sunscreens

My PCP just increased Ropinirole. I’m pretty sure I’m in augmentation
I have been on Ropinirole for 1 1/2 years. It was a miracle drug for me until about 3 months ago. My PCP said to double the dose. But that hasn’t been helping. I now get flairs during the day (never had them during the day before), It takes a long time to work (an hour or more) while it used to be 15
