So, my granddaughter has been on the combined pill for over two months which has done what it was supposed to do, except that she is in more pain now than ever before. The GP has given her different pain killers but once again they have no effect on her. He said that in his opinion she may not have

What do I say?!!
I started a really bad flare yesterday, the first for a LONG time. I rang the rheumatology department at our local hospital because I’m wondering whether it has been triggered by the recent Covid infection together with the antiviral infusion I had. A nurse called me back and asked “where is the swelling

Leg Muscle Pain
I have leg pains migrating from my ankle to my thigh especially on my right side. Pain killers ease the pain for a while but it keeps recurring. It's better at night though. If anyone out there has a similar problem, please share your experiences and let me know if it got any better and how.

Hemorrhoids problems
Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone here would have some experience with this and would be willing to share how they deal with it. I've had IBS since my teenage years, and I'm now nearly 50. I've had diarrhoea (who on earth invented that word and decided to spell it like that??) every week of my life

Recent doctors review
Hi guys, I just had a follow up with my doctor asking for a referral to the gynaecologist and she told me that I can't have a referral until I try three months of treatment which means going on hormonal treatment that I don't want. She also said that if my symptoms get better on hormonal treatment then

Is anyone still taking Co-proxamol pain killer?
Hi there I've just given some quotes to a journalist from the Mail on Sunday about my experience of having to stop taking co-proxamol when it was taken off the market as a regular pain killer used by many for managing different types of pain. At that time I was getting it as a named patient from my GP
