A good rheumatologist in Worcestershire area??
Hi, obvs new here 😊. I don't have fibromyalgia - but my partner does. He's been diagnosed for 5years now. He's GP and pain management consultant have said "it's all in your head, exercise and therapy is all you need". I'm fuming, he's given up. I want to do everything I possibly can to make he's life

Painful feet
Hi all, I’ve had RA for 34 years & always had painful feet. I’ve had insoles made over the years but they don’t fit all my shoes & don’t really help. I’m always told at podiatry my footwear is wrong despite the fact I spend a fortune on shoes, m&s foot glove, hotter shoes & scholl. These past few weeks

Treating auto immune diseases with cannabis oil
A friend showed me a you-tube video of a clinic founder in Denmark who treats folks like us with cannabis oil. ( Video is titled CBD Oil for Auto Immune inflammation, older Danish lady speaks about it.) I had already looked into using pure, legal, lab tested, powerful cannabis sativa oil. Although expensive

Gynae refusing to see me
Hi all, I hope you don’t mind but I really needed a place to have a bit of a rant and thought here might be a good option. Briefly, I’ve had all the symptoms of endo since I was 15. After years of Doctors and hospital visits they eventually said they were convinced I had endometriosis but didn’t want

Feeling very down. Awful fatigue. This is the loneliest journey at times.
Hi everyone Sorry in advance for what will seem like self pity and rambling but I don't know who else to talk to. As you'll see from my previous posts, I'm in the investigative stage to get a diagnosis with Lupus, Sjorgens and RA being thrown into the mix. I also have a confirmed over active thyroid

Pain relief.
Any suggestions for a pain relief med. woke up this morning pretty beaten up. Ankles gave way when I got up to go to the loo, slightly ungrateful. Aches and pains through the whole body. I have tramadol but if I take it I become snappy and quick tempered. I stopped taking it for my partners benefit

Stopping tramadol
I was fortunate enough to see a top specialist in restless leg syndrome. As I am 32 he has advised I come off the tramadol I take at night and instead take pregabalin I am on the neupro patch so they should work well together. To be honest getting to sleep which is usually my biggest problem is no longer

Tramadol and severe headaches
I took two 50mg tramadol yesterday. It’s my first time taking this drug. Today I have had a constant headache, and I know this may sound like a slight exaggeration but it has been the worst headache I have ever experienced. I’ve basically been bed bound all day, it’s thumping pressure headache. I

Gall bladder pain
Finally a diagnosis which seems to fit with the symptoms. Was in freaking agony again today on a par with labour pains, but for longer than any of my labours...I was lucky with them. Anyway on the floor in A and E. was given plenty of meds by IV, fluids for dehydration I think, tramadol, buscopan and

Tramadol- drowsy and muscle spasms
I’ve taken two 50mg of tramadol today. One earlier on and one just before I got to bed tonight. These seem to be working for my pain, but now I have scared myself by reading loads of things about it on the internet!! Worst thing to do! I know they can make you drowsy, but my thigh muscle is twitching

Tramadol and being at work
I went to see my GP this morning about my pain and headaches, and she has prescribed me tramadol. She has signed me off work for a week, as I havent taken tramadol before and she thinks ill need time off for my body to adjust to taking it. I spoke to HR at work and they’ve said if I want to come back
