Refused iron infusion
I have been told now by my G.P that I shall be unable (at the moment) to have an iron infusion. She wants me to start on Pregabilin. Does anyone kmow if its O.K. to take this drug with Tramadol and has anyone found that it makes you put on weight. Thanks

Feeling awful and fed up!
Hi all, I haven’t posted or replied to posts on here for a few weeks as I haven’t had the head space for anything. After being taken off Leflunomide first due to awful side effects then stopped Abatercept infusion I had 4 appointments with the consultant and nurses who in turn lost 2 lots of blood

Ivor Lewis operation
So here’s my latest observation. I am now 8 weeks post Ivor Lewis operation. I was kind of managing the pain through 8 Tramadol and 8 Paracetamol a day. Still painful but ok. About 5 days ago the pain increased in my side (from where the incision was). It’s now more painful than ever. I’ve also got a

Toe update.
Limped in to out of hours at my local hospital earlier today. The receptionist found the explanation of how I bashed my toe during a tramadol induced bad dream quite amusing and had the chuckles throughout. Next saw the specialist nurse who examined the two bruised toes of my left foot, very gently

Dumping
I had the Ivor Lewis operation to take out my Oesophagus due to stage 2 cancer Tumour about 8 weeks ago. They obviously stretched my stomach up to replace that. Recently I’ve been experiencing what they called ‘Dumping’. Can anyone give me advice on what foods cause it and how to combat the awful feeling

Oh 'eck, think I've broke my toe!
I seem to be having a bit of bad luck lately. Fell asleep in my chair and somehow managed to kick the wall during a vivid bad dream...blinkin' tramadol! My toes are deformed and painful at the best of times so you can imagine the excruciating pain when I did it! :-( It's the toe next to my big one

Polyic,Sinuses and face tingling
While I wait for a referral to ENT by exceptional funding request I have developed another symptom. Off and on tingling on left side of my face the tingling has started up again and has stayed. It's a watch and wait was the advice of GP today. He did look up my nose again. Small custers of poltics.

Anyone got any ideas about what I should do now?
I was diagnosed with RA in 2006 and later Fibromyalgia. Since then I've been on Sulfasalazine, MTX orally, Hydroxychloroquine, MTX subcutaneously, steroid injections. At the beginning of the year I was so bad I could hardly move, I was put on 4 months of Prednisone, and started on 50mg Benepali - which

UNSUSPECTING SLEEPER
I've been prescribed Tramadol by my GP (totally unrelated to RLS). Last night the pain was so bad I took 2 instead of the advised 1. I slept for 10 hours straight ... who needs sleepers????

Iron Infusion
I have been using the Neupro patch but augmented on it. I managed to wean off it gradually with the help of Tramadol and have been off it now for six months. Unfortunately I experienced horrendous side effects with the Tramadol ( severe constipation and a burning sensation on my skin) so can’t take

Recuip withdrawal. When will the horror end?
Fourth night in a row that I slept maybe an hour each night, paced, kicked my legs to the point that I can hardly walk due to the pain and feeling so restless I could jump out of my skin. This has to be so bad for my body. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. I've been tapering for weeks slowly

My research helped my severe back pain!
Hey guys! I'm happy to say that I have done some significant research into the pain medication I was taking for my lower back pain for the last 4 years. I won't give details of where I got all of my data but I found the Royal College of Anaesthetists most helpful. Above a certain limit, the research
