Xolair Trial
Been on the
Xolair
trial for 3 ½ years with one small break in the middle when I was again very bad with asthma. During my time on
Xolair
it transformed me from struggling by from day to day into having a life worth living able to do day to day things within reason.

Xolair
The reason I am asking is because my consultant doesn't believe that this can be due to the
Xolair
already and I was wondering what other people's experiences had been. On a separate note does any one else get a splitting headache the evening after their
XOlair
injection?

Omalizumab (Xolair) trial
Hi all I have recently been approached about taking part in the
Xolair
trial for non-allergic asthma, as my asthma is still uncontrolled despite all the meds.

Asthma injection
Studies show
Xolair
(omalizumab) cuts asthma attacks among those with severe allergic asthma whose symptoms are not controlled by existing therapies. The drug, one of a range which can be used for this group, is injected in hospital every two to four weeks.

Light at the end of the tunnel?
If I get accepted on to the trial I could be getting
Xolair
, and may help change the future for everyone out there who doesn't qualify for
Xolair
as the regulations are now!

Newbie here, looking for some help with new meds - AZITHIOPRINE / XOLAIR
We have been asked to make a decision between trying either Azithioprine (sp) or
Xolair
. I am not keen on either of these and the hospital can't say if either will make a difference or not. Does anyone have any experience of either of these meds, pros and cons to help me come to a decision.

Omalizumab/Xolair Treatment Length
I've been on Omalizumab for I think almost two years. I think it has made quite a difference for me - certainly I have far far less hospital admissions and they have been much shorter. However, I am still on high dose Pred and can still be very up and down, so it hasn't been a miracle cure, though

Omalizumab/Xolair
I'm being started on Omalizumab/Xoliar this week. I've found lots of useful info/experience searching the previous threads about this, but I have just one question. How much does it actually hurt? Can you compare it to something so I know what to expect? Is it like a blood test? Like an ABG? It

Tiatropium inhaler
He has also said we are running out of options, if this doesn't work I have to consider a course of long term oral steroids (which I would REALLY like to avoid) and possibly
Xolair
. It's weird.

Reaction to xolair
Since starting
xolair
my asthma has become worse but have also had chest infections so thought that the cause. My consultant visited me later and said could not possibly be allergic to
xolair
as it prevents allergic reactions.
