Eosinophilic Asthma & new here
I am on 4 inhalers a day, singluar, nose spray, nebulizer treatments 4 times a day, right now I'm on a second round of 10 days prednisone, an emergency inhaler when needed,
xolair
shots 2 twice monthly. Now the doctor wants to add shots to target the eosinophilia cells.

Beginning to despair
I went today, I was due to have my
xolair
injections so I saw the asthma nurse first, she was very concerned how unwell I was and wouldn't give me the injections till I had seen the doctor.

Not again!!
Just getting a little bored of all this and wish the difficult asthma service would get back to me about whether I qualify for
xolair
injections!

Asthma, Xolair and Nucala
I also started
Xolair
when it was first released. The
Xolair
has reduced my admissions drastically and allowed my prednisilone to drop to 5mg from 15mg. Now it seems to have plateaued though.

Fed up!
I had my
xolair
injections at the hospital on Friday and the nurse did a swab to see if I have flu and I'm still waiting for the results from that, I really don't know where to turn next. I'm missing so much work and feel really listless and exhausted.

ANCA AND GOODPASTURE VASCULITIS
I got sick end of March 2017, 2 days after my first
XOLAIR
shot. Docs thought i had pneumonia for 4 months, 100% right lung-75% left lung, no hospital ir bloodwork, just meds and nebulizer. Another Doc finally did bloodwork, I ended up in ICU for 15 days: eGFR 10, Creatinine 4.75.

Severe asthma xolair
I have been trying
xolair
for the past five months during this time my asthma has still got worse and I was recently in resus for the first time.
Xolair
is not working and I’m curious what I can try next if anything. I’m also rather scared about how bad my asthma is now.

Xolair Thoughts
Hi All, I have started
Xolair
and am wondering do any of you guys have experiences in it. Good or bad? I was reading somewhere that it causes anaphylaxis. Curious to know did anybody here ever get this? It seems like a very worrying drug. Would welcome any feedback or comments

Pred - side effects
I am waiting to be started on
xolair
and then mepolzumab. I have been on prednisilone since Aug 2015 - I estimate that over that period of time I have been on around 25mg per day. Has anybody suffered side effects on a similar dosage and period of time?
