I started right away on Casodex, then Eligard, Zytiga, and prednisone, and later began monthly
Xgeva
.
Xgeva
has since been weened to every three months (April 2022), and within 6-7 months, I suffered my first Vertebral fracture (t-11) compression fracture "Osteoporotic".

I get an
xgeva

Am taking
Xgeva
shots going on 9 years. Is it possible to bring down markers with Letrozole only if you have a slow grower? Has anyone had success with that? I had a Dr. at The Cleveland Clinic tell me this was the treatment of choice before Ibrance was created.

Xtandi monotherapy is very effective
Therefore,
Xgeva
is probably not required. The monotherapy can be used to avoid these side effects. I added the curve for enzalutamide monotherapy into this image for comparison and included the tables of adverse events. There is increased gynecomastia and nipple pain with the monotherapy.

What does this mean: Elevated calcium score 893 predominantly involving LAD and RCA 11/2022
To maintain bone health I've been eating a cup of full fat along with my 90-day
Xgeva
shot. Also have trouble with left kidney failing so I have not started the statin yet. Add to that close to being accepted on Eclipse Trial. Advice?

PSA Climbing while on Zoladex and Abiraterone with Prednisone
I was scheduled to start
Xgeva
. As I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis due to having ADT since 2017. What other treatment should I look forward to having. Thanks Rick PSA is 4.66

Is it normal??
Is it normal to experience bone, joint, and muscle pain 3-5 days after receiving
Xgeva
injection? The pain is mostly in my hips, thighs, and spine and lasts about a month. The pelvis area is also affected. Or, are these symptoms from the 3 month Eligard I receive at the same time?

In that time I've developed osteopenia, and have suffered an "Osteoporotic" compression fracture to the t11 vertebra, even though I've been receiving
XGEVA
, and taking Calcium Citrate, D3, and Multi vitamins as directed.

Sleepyhead!
3 years on Eligard Abiraterone,
Xgeva
and Prednisone and lately the fatigue is unbearable, particularly after I eat a late breakfast or early lunch. And it really doesn't matter what I eat Anyone else have this?

What do you think of XGeva?
I was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer to keep my prostate cancer company (see my post a couple of days ago, or my profile).I have an appointment tomorrow with my MO, but he has scheduled me to begin
XGeva
infusions tomorrow (which is to strengthen bones).

Hello, dear people!
After he finished docetaxel sessions he started
Xgeva
too. Unfortunately, in november his PSA started rising, and grew in aprox three weeks from 0,3 to 1,69. Strangely, his testosterone level was dowm 0,3. We were devastated, this situation scared us, since then we had no peace.

Timing of XGeva & Radium 223.
His oncologist wants him to also start
XGeva
. The
XGeva
injections were postponed until after he had dental crown work done. He had an appointment for that on 2/6 which has been delayed because he tested + for Covid. His rescheduled appointment is for 2/21.

Next treatment options available for advancing disease
I will also be adding
Xgeva
to the mix. Any advise or comments on these options would be appreciated. I am very grateful for having this site available for real life experiences and information. I wish I new about this site back when I was diagnosed in 2017. Thanks,

Ache all over but stable. What to do?
I am on Faslodex shots and
Xgeva
every third month. I’ve been taking ibuprofen and Tylenol and it really doesn’t help. I didn’t always have this problem. I’m wondering if it’s excessive inflammation?

Diagnosed 2014 ER positive breast cancer, mastectomy RHS chemo and 5 years on aromasin. 2020 diagnosed Mets in sternum, ribs and spine 10 rounds of radiation and faslodex, ibrance and
xgeva
with fantastic results. So new liver Mets have appeared after my tumours in my bones are stable.

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
This avoids the following side effects of Lupron significantly: - hot flushes - muscle loss - weight gain - reduced libido, patients can stay sexually active - bone loss, no bisphosphonates or
Xgeva
and Prolia needed - brain fog - shrinked testes On the other hand Enzalutamide monotherapy will cause

Hello eyebrows, my old friend
Fast forward to my current ibrance/faslodex and
xgeva
protocol and more of the same. Unit now. For my birthday, my daughter gave me a cbd facial serum which feels great and makes my 51 yr old skin glow. Using morning and night for the past 4 weeks , I now have my eyebrows back.

Triple Therapy
Yesterday, I received my 3rd cycle of 3/4 dosage of Docetaxel, my 3 month injection of Lupron and monthly
xGeva
injection. But, I was told not to resume Abiraterone. I started out following the Peace-1 trial; but my MO is prioritizing the Docetaxel treatment over the hormonal treatment.
