Supplements/Nutrition for advanced prostate cancer
Then in July he started on Casodex (2wks), then Eligard (every 3months), Zytiga and
Xgeva
(both monthly). His initial PSA in June/July was 33 and after only a month of treatment it went down to 3 and hopefully it continously goes down to a very low undetectable level.

3 years on Ibrance
I’ve been on Ibrance, Letrozole and
Xgeva
combination now for 3 years. Was wondering if others have been on this regimen longer. I have bone Mets and some undetermined liver spots. I have tolerated this well but have noticed increased fatigue and joint pain.

Knee, foot and joint pain on Ibrance, Faslodex and Xgeva
So, I'm on 75 mg. of Ibrance, monthly Faslodex and every 8 weeks on
Xgeva
for about 6 months now. Last scans (after 3 mths on this regimen) showed full treatment response, which is fantastic and I'm grateful! Now, I'm having patella knee pain and foot pain and other random joint pains.

Moved up scans
Is it
xgeva
? I googled some indicating
xgeva
made their previous bone wounds more sensitive. But I also don’t like the look of my scalp met. It’s a scab after March biopsy. Hasn’t gone away or reduced. My hope is it’s only a non-cancerous growth at this point.

Is anyone having side effects of the Ibrance, Faslodex and Xgeva?
I'm starting my 5 month of IBRANCE,
Xgeva
and Faslodex for Mets in my lumbar, sternum and pelvis. I Had 15 radiation treatments to the lumbar prior to starting the treatment.

Travels with PSA
Upon return, he has new onset of pain, (boney mets stage 4) and alkaline phosphate levels are high, ( on Xfogia dose # 3,
Xgeva
and Trelstar) he has been fatigued and somewhat depressed. Take time to enjoy life! Time slips away so quickly,

Treatment update
Treated with Firmagon,
Xgeva
, Casodex, Prednisone and Docetaxel. Fingers still numb and fingernails a mess from the Chemo. When Chemo ended, switched to Lupron and Zytiga. PSA went untetectable before the end of Chemo and has remained that way. Scans look as clean as they can.

Cancer spread to bones and is being treated with
Xgeva
. Was treated with taxotere but cancer spread to liver. Was then treated with jevtana and psa climbed to 1000. Not sure of Gleason score. He sees his hematologist/oncologist tomorrow.

Up's & Down's
Moving forward, I have been on Ibrance, Faslodex &
Xgeva
since Sept. My family is very supportive, my daughter is a nurse in the oncology / telemetry unit & my husband has never missed an appointment with me. He wants to believe all is good & really wants me to stop dwelling on the "cancer"!
