Recent liver progression after stable bone mets. Researching treatments and reaching out. X
Hi beautiful people, I've recently had progression to my liver after being stable on tamoxifen and
xgeva
. My tumours were in my spine, ribs and femurs originally. My spinal ones are currently dormant after radiotherapy and tamoxifen.

Xgeva: Helping or hurting?
Any opinions/advice on
Xgeva
injections? As far as Osteocytes and Osteoblasts (building up and tearing down of bone) Do you know if
Xgeva
has more of an effect on one or the other or both?

Good oncology care
., receive Fluexatine injection and
Xgeva
shot once a month and am doing well, with the exception of some profuse diarrhea on occasion and of course the tiredness that most of us experience.

Reactions to Firmagon/Xgeva
Josh just had his first Firmagon and
Xgeva
injections. 99.5-100.5 fever last night and today. Very achey and discomfort beneath belly button- not at injection site. Anyone else have this kind of reaction? He starts low-dose chemo Tuesday, Dr Bob’s protocol. Check out www.compassionateoncology.org

Nausea without meds
I received
xgeva
on January 8. I continue to have nausea and food aversion. Is this from liver Mets? I’m frustrated because I wake up every morning wondering “how do I feel today?” Still though optimistic because I do have good days. I just can’t take that for granted anymore.

Halfway Through Docetaxel
Also, getting fresh shots of Lupron and
Xgeva
last week made the pain quite noticeably worse. But I'm not being especially kind to my joint either. I've been out shoveling snow, walking or running (very slowly) many days, and also carrying loads of firewood into the house.

Well..latest (03/22) PSA is up to 1.67 from 1.5(O2/22)...on the high test(concentrated) BIRM for 2 months now. Lupron & Xtandi.
Still feeling better than I did without it....even though it seems like I am feeling the build up of Xtandi issues...and now the added issues from
Xgeva
(a little bone pain in ribs)...Still keeping on keeping on.

Looking for the link to Dr. Lin, from Dana-Farber Cancer Inst Video on treatments of MBC HR+
Have been on Ibrance, Femara and
Xgeva
singe June 2018. I had my ovaries taken out in July 2019. I was surfing this site, reading all the similar stories. I found the link to Dr. Lin's video, which was so informative. But I can't seem to find it again.

Extreme Coughing, Dizziness and Shortness of Breath while getting Faslodex injection. (Side Effect).
I’ve been getting monthly FASLODEX &
XGEVA
injections for over a year now without any issues. Actually....the last two treatments I did feel a bit woozy during injections, but not bad. But today was a whole new experience!!
