This morning I was feeling okish although both hands were swollen and sore but I carried on regardless and gave the house a once over etc.. After I thought I would run myself a nice bath

Anxiety Story
Hi all, this site has changed a lot since I last used it. I am having a really sad time at the moment and I thought I would right a little passage about my anxiety for you all to read in the hope some of you get some support. It is very metaphorical! But this is how I see my anxiety! :) Enjoy! My anxiety

Unfortunately the
wounds
from the lung biopsy became infected and are being packed and dressed daily, I've had a lot of pain from the sites. Ironically the Consultant wrote to my GP saying the
wounds
are healing nicely; at least that gave me a chuckle.

I am a Type II diabetic for about 25 years. Wounds on my feet take a long time to heal, but after healing, the pigment does not return. Help
My sugar levels are fairly under control with insulin. Both my feet are numb and I get injured easily. Healing tales a long time, but how do I get rid of the scars and get the pigment to return. Can you help?

Stitch fallen out of one of wound sites six days post surgery
Merry Christmas to you all, hope you've had as painless one as possible. Mine has been somewhat painful. The stitch fell out of left wound site on Tuesday, six days after surgery. It has been slightly weeping and bleeding since and very sore. Not sure if this requires me going to doc or hospital to get

Mental -v- Physical
Perhaps we need to look deeper than just physical
wounds
. I am not ashamed to share how tough it is staying positive when actually all you want to do is curl up in a ball and hide. I know that I am not alone. Till next time

Please help I'm scared
Hi Diagnosed with endo in December 2012, had a lap and my periods returned to normal afterwards. Not really had any hiccups until now. I just woke up covered in blood, it's literally everywhere, had to jump in the shower and strip my bed. I'm not due on for about 10-14 days, this is very unusual

I am home after surgery too
I just wanted to update you also that I came home on Wednesday, 8 days after my op. I will be honest it was one of the toughest experiences I have ever bern through. I was not prepared for how I would feel after surgery. I picked up an infection, my temp was over 100f a few times, I needed to be recatheterised

Bowel Preparation
Hi. I am having a endoscopy on Friday due to bowel pain I've experienced since my lap in August. I've been given a cancellation appointment so only got the letter/instructions regarding the bowel prep today and I'd already had a small amount of bran flakes for breakfast as I didn't realise you shouldn't

Anyone had post-lap infection without any obvious signs of infection?
Hi I had a major op nearly 3 weeks ago, in the last few days the post-op pain and discomfort has started to ease off a bit thankfully however this morning I felt a bit off and then started getting the worst stabbing pains I've ever had in between 2 of my
wounds
an high up on my right side.

I had this done 8 days ago, Laparoscopy, 4
wounds
, the right would is so sore and the right side still very painful. The ovary removed was the left! The bruising this side was awful, and worse than the others.
