Wounds
looks fine and I don't have a temperature! The pain is in the same place I had it before the op and in my lower back.... now making me worry that all my pain was more the adeno than endo and that I'll be no better off yet...

Bilateral salpingectomy, delayed period.
Hi Ladies, Had a bilateral salpingectomy over 3weeks ago which has totally messed with my cycle. Was on the second day of my menstrual cycle on the day of the surgery. I'm usually regular as clockwork. Can't understand why this would happen. I've read that an oophrectomy can cause an early menopause

Experience with prazosin?
I have nightmares as part of my PTSD. I read about prazosin a medication that supposedly takes away nightmares and helps you to sleep. I asked the doctor to prescribe it and he did. I tried it for the first time last night and had a great night! Should I be taking this or do EMDR or something else to

Coagucheck testing methods
Some time ago we had some discussions about wasted strips due to failure of method and I promised to report back on the test I have at my surgery. Had one yesterday so here goes. (2.7 by the way after a week of antibiotics). I asked the phlebotomist how she did it and was amazed at what she told me.

The poor lad is on painkillers & antibiotics; plus the hateful collar to stop him licking his
wounds
. Ollie is rallying & been for a short walk this morning. I love dogs & the Veterinary services; any problems instantly on the ball.

Provera Oral
I have been taking 30mg oral Provera a day alongside Cerazette for the past 4 months, the consultant told me to stop the Provera now and carry on with Cerazette until my first laparoscopy (hopefully in about 2 months time). I am worried that the whole point of the provera is to shrink the endometriosis

Danazol! Help im scared
Hi, i have been prescribed Danazol for 6 months in a last ditch attempt to reduce my endo before a 5th lap. From what I have read it sounds awful and side effects sound truly horrible. Ive been on zoladex before and that wasnt pleasant but this sounds worse! Has anyone had any good results or tried this

4 days post op leaky incision
Hi everyone. Had a lap on Monday where they found endo on ovaries, pelvic wall and uterine ligaments. When I was back on the ward I noticed my stitches in the belly button cut had come undone and out so the wound was completely open. Eventually got a doctor back who closed the wound with glue. Pain wise

Leaky Lymphoedema
Hi, I have had lymphoedema in my legs for approx 20 years, it started in my right leg then about 10 years ago moved into my left leg, which has now become worse than the right leg. I have had numerous bouts of cellulitis over the years, my legs now resemble the skin of a Rhino with large golf ball size

Surgery and lymphodema
I recently had a panniculectomy done after the surgery about 18 inches opened up which left me with an open wound so I am not able to get into my lymph pod so the swelling has gotten out of control and I was wonderering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do to bring it under control. Oh the swelling

My sister's chemo to begin. Advise me on all aspects please
Finally my search for the oncologist, as suggested by Dr Sumeet, is over. I have found in Dr Lalit at AIIMS just the right and experienced person whom I can trust. My sister (44yrs) has accepted the news with great maturity. After her surgery about 2 wks back she has also been doing a lot of reading

How soon after Lap can I use exercise bike?
I've read about other activities which say start when you feel ready, but others say even if you feel ok outside, you don't know what the
wounds
are like inside. Thanks, Sara xx.

NHS medication recommendations, and minerals
I feel so much better now and the
wounds
in my mouth are healing. Are there other options for maintenance, either different ingredients or generally something less aggressive? Is it recommended at all for a so far one time attack? What is the general NHS recommendation on this?
