Big decision. Met surgeon today - he wants to do liver resection. Is this recommended or too risky?
I have one isolated 7mm met in my liver. I met a liver specialist today who feels I am an ideal candidate for liver resection rather than ablation as he thinks it could be minimally invasive. I don’t know what to do - is it risky to come off meds? Is resection surgery too risky? It it necessary to do

Reactions to Amlodipine ….
I’ve been taking Amlodipine since 2011 along with Lisinopril for HBP and

. I had no idea that Amlodipine was causing all the side affects I’ve been experiencing. The major being severe back/waist pain. The quality of my life is terrible because of this.

Retrograde ejaculation after turps
I doubt you will ejaculate any more more then you then you already have this because during surgery they destroy part of the mechanism that makes you ejaculate retro grade ejaculation is a myth it does not go backwards it was made up bye surgeons to cover up what they did doing any kind of exercise

Is retrograde ejaculation after TURP surgery reversible?
I've had retrograde ejaculation every since having had TURP surgery for BPH in Sep 2021. I recently started doing kegel exercises, having read that it may help reverse retrograde ejaculation. Has anyone tried this, and have you been successful? For the first time today since the TURP surgery, I noticed

10 weeks post op liver cyst deroofing/resection
I am 10 weeks out today from robotic liver resection 10%m gallbladder removal (lesion pressing on it killed it) and deroofing of an 8 cm cyst (formerly a hemangioma that turned cystic after 2 ablations). I have made some progress but still feel rather badly; still have pain/discomfort on right side,

Hard time urinating and weak stream
Hi everyone, my Dad started having hard time urinating, he needs to push to get it started and has a weak stream. The PSMA scan back in June 2022 did show some residual cancer in the left side of prostate gland but we were told that the radiation and Zytiga are still working and will eventually get rid

Scar Tissue & Pain
Hi, my emergency liver resection and tumour removal was in sept 2020. I’ve got a large yet beautiful scar across my abdomen. After 18months, I still get a lot of scar pain and can feel the scar tissue. I’ve had scar tissue massage a few times from a trained person and try to do a bit myself at home

PIP renewal
Hi all hope you are as well as can be expected if you suffer with fibro. My daughter has had her renewal letter due October 2022 although they told her in January 2022 it was extended until July 2023 A lot of people say put no change is the best advice But she has got worse and had other diagnosis

Pancreatic Enzymes
Hi - Just a quick question. Has anybody been treated with pancreatic enzymes at all? I’ve got SIBO and was prescribed Rifaximin by my Gastroenterologist at the beginning of the year which unfortunately didn’t work, and when I saw him last Wednesday he’s going to try me with some more antibiotics, but

Levoxyl and Cytomel dosage changed after weird test results . Does it make sense?
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2017 and have been on 100 mcg Levoxyl for about 5 years. Two years ago I finally convinced the fourth endocrinologist I was seeing to add Cytomel (5mcg). I immediately started feeling better, physically and mentally. Early this year I was diagnosed with advanced metastatic

Nebequa has stopped working after 11 months Now what?.
Hi Gents, Well, it's been a crazy 4 years, I remember when I first posted on here. I think membership was under 3K here I think it is like 16k now I believe my treatment options are running out. I had my 3rd channel TURP on 9/21/2021 and put on
Nebuqa
due to a reaction to docetaxel. Fast forward

Does anyone have symptoms that are linked to urinary problems. I had TURPS surgery about 3 years ago which went ok but my nocturia symptoms have never gone away. I often wake up at night 3 or 4 times with the urge to urinate both nothing comes. When I have a bad night it often coincides with a bad bout
