An Enlightening Endocrine Adventure
They don't like to test for B
vitamins
here. But since riboflavin is water soluble, and since I had neglected to supplement B
vitamins
for several years, I've resumed the Jarrow B-Right. If I feel better and the anemia symptoms fade away, then I've solved it.

Low T4 still.
My
vitamins
results are all satisfactory. I take 125mcg of levothyroxine in the morning; 10mcg of Thybon20Henning in the morning and 10mcg mid-afternoon. This has been my protocol for some years.

Doctor recommendation needed
She reluctantly prescribed T3 but did not really bother about following up or testing
vitamins
or overall health. My GP tries but he is clueless on thyroid related issues other than where normal TSH should be, which does not help.

Solgar sublingual methylcobalamin - unsealed?
I’m possibly overthinking….this jar did have its plastic wrapper seal intact, but the lid was loose, there was nothing to peel off the top (like you get on some
vitamins
) and no wadding. Can anyone tell me if there should be wadding, or if there should be a paper seal on the top? Thank you

vitamins/supplements to help with implantation/reducing inflammation (endo sufferer)
hiya ! Hope everyone is ok. I’m just planning for my FET in April and I feel I have a nice amount of time to really get myself in the best possible shape. Can anyone recommend supplements they took to help with implantation? Thanks so much xx

3 am protocol for T3, please tell me about it?
Full blood count was also done but Surgery declined to do Ferritin or
vitamins
, Ferritin usually scrapes along the bottom of the range even with prescribed ferrous fumarate and/or self supplementing (I am vegan) Tests of many things including B12 done a few months ago, like kidney function etc, all

do I need to stop Biotin containing supplements before a Blue Horizon iron status profile test?
I am testing my iron after very low ferritin results on a thyroid plus
vitamins
test ( I am seeing a Dr at private online clinic from the Thyroid UK list) In the past II had normal/high iron, so before I supplement I want to check all the iron indicators my question is: do I need to stop my b complex

I take a concoction of
vitamins
and regularly do hot cold therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Side affects on your hormones from the meds will always be hard work but the longer it goes on the less the side affects appear impactful.

Vitamins/supplements for cll?
I found out AFTER I was diagnosed with CLL that low vitamin D is a risk factor for getting CLL. I have had chronically low vitamin D even though I worked outside for half my working life. I was haphazard in supplementing the past 30 years. With recent research, I'm seeing all kinds of supposedly helpful

Am I on enough thyroid medication for my weight
I 'ran' my disease states by identifying what part of the body was showing me it needed help with
vitamins
or minerals - think about it - dis-ease of the body - lucky enough in those days to be tested every 3 months - what I have found is that the body will drag from your food anything it needs to keep

Being gas-lit: NOT Hypothyroidism, it’s Silent Reflux says Consultant Thyroid/ENT – Advice requested.
I suspect I’m not absorbing
vitamins
& minerals well, especially B12. I learned six years ago that I need Selenium to convert FT4 to FT3 (now at the top of Intermediate conversion, not the bottom), which I believe is why my TSH is stable.

Riboflavin (b2) supplementation is a no-brainer for Parkinsons
MTHFR cannot process synthetic
vitamins
. These synthetic
vitamins
are harmful. In the late 90’s, the FDA decided to enrich flour with synthetic
vitamins
. This is causing huge problems. 30-40% of the population have a form of MTHFR. Unintended consequences. This has pretty easy solutions.

what thyroid or other tests will help in improving heart condition ?
I have ulcerative colitis so think this stops me absorbing
vitamins
as much as I should. sorry it’s such a long post. Quite scared now as BHF nurse advised light activity only and kept saying she was so sorry.

Iron supplement recommendations please
🙈 I was looking at Floradix liquid iron however it contains b
vitamins
which I'm already taking (thank you SlowDragon for the recommendation previously) so I don't want to overdo it. I'm also using the BetterYou Vitamin D spray now too just to add.

Latest endo appointment. Will not increase T3 as TSH now low!!!!!
I also asked for my T3 and
vitamins
and minerals to be tested. She was surprised that no follow-up blood tests were done after my discharge from hospital 18 months ago. She had asked my GP to test T3, but they didn't, on last two blood tests, requested by her.
