Advice Please? Possible ET?
Sorry for the super long post, I'm just at a
loss
about what to do at this point, I haven't wanted to bother the doctor during the pandemic if they seem to believe there is nothing wrong with me however I do feel something isn't right!

Finally Kicked The Habit: 1 Month Quit
Hi everyone :) Happy New Year ! I finally kicked smoking. I'm one month and some days off smoking. From day one this quit was different than the hundred previous quit attempts. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired. But it was more than that. A switch went off in my mind which made me grow

Needing Hope for the Future
It seems like every time I'm severely stressed, I have an episode affecting my
vision
, fatigue, mood, or
loss
of feeling from the waist down. Despite all of that, my MRI's are showing little to no disease progression which is wonderful but my mood shifts still happen.

New Start
Another weight loss diet has started, every year I say this will be the year I am finally going to be normal (what ever normal is). Last year I had many starts and many stops. Having a busy life with constant work pressures I seek comfort in food, it's a way of destroying myself. I hope this year will

Block and Replace weight gain
I just wondered if anyone else is struggling with losing weight whilst on block and replace. I didn't lose weight prior to being diagnosed in April but have gained around half a stone and just can't seem to shift it. Has anyone any advice to lose what I've gained>

Hashimoto - eye issues
Hi to everyone. I noticed while peeling onions my eyes were exremelly painful and they also looked different. Off to opticians and they said my eyedrops are not producing the protective "oil". She told me what to buy but the problem is not going away. They stiff and sticky and just horrible. Is this

Inulin - may help sleep and constipation
My daughter recently bought me some inulin to try as she had heard it can help you sleep. I can't honestly say it helped me sleep at the time, but a side effect is that it is helpful with bowel movements!! More recently I took some on holiday with me - for my bowels, and this time I do think it helped

Late diagnosis
I now have vertigo, wobbly
vision
, hearing
loss
, horrible fatigue and exhaustion. We have to realise that there is a huge learning gap and ignorance out there. Late intervention with Prednisone has taken a huge toll on my life. I am making every endeavour to try and get my life back at 80yrs.

Textbook case of HIV but still negative at 12 weeks
That came with diarrhea, severe night sweats, weight
loss
, thrush and changes to my
vision
. It’s been almost 3 months since then and I now have more thrush, diarrhea and boils/red spots on my chest and back now. Also a massive cold sore outbreak. I’ve been doing 4th gen tests with no luck.

Coming off the KETO diet
Hi All, So I've been Keto for 2 years a 3 months. 2 years of that I have stalled really. The first 3 months I did loose. Ive had enough. I'm bored of it and its making me miserable. I keep cheating - then mentally beating myself up - then going back on it and I feel rubbish. I'm stuck in some horrid

Struggling to Get Diagnosed - GCA
Yet if this is GCA I'm happy that they were proactive and took it seriously enough to prevent
vision
loss
. I guess the important thing is that I am taking steroids and still pushing for answers. It's been a long, lonely, frustrating road but I've found comfort in reading many of your stories here.

Artane anyone?
Hi Everyone, My husband's worst symptom is dystonia in his toes - we are really trying to alleviate this so he can run once again. Botox (well actually it was Dysport that was given to use due to insurance) has not helped. Movement Specialist recommened Artane. I was wondering if I could have some

Weight gain...what did your levels need to be to start losing weight?
Trying to get my tsh ft4 etc all in range after a levo increase, levels now worse on levo than pre treatment 4 years back. My GP insists on a 3 month gap between raises though and I think I probably need another couple of rises of 25mg on top of this one to get back in range, not even optimally. My question

New Member/Old Problem
Hello, I’m new to this site - a google search to find someone that might understand what I’m trying to explain about this uncontrolled anxiety, & sadness I’m feeling. Last time (1990) I went through all of this, there was no internet! Long story short, Effexor & Wellbutrin were keeping things under control
