Post DIEP surgery exercises??
Hello everyone, I was discharged yesterday after a delayed DIEP flap reconstruction and was given the Breast Cancer Care leaflet with 8 arm exercises. They are the same ones I had to do after the mastectomy 2 years ago. I haven't been given any information or advise about tummy exercises. I'm hunched

Mom detected with invasive ductal carcinoma
First when my mom told me about the lump, I took her for checkup followed by mammography appointment and FNAC test which created suspicion for cancer. Next was going to a surgeon for removal and during that procedure there was a frozen section report which confirmed cancer (Invasive ductal carcinoma)

Getting Mom treated for breast cancer
Today doctor took a piece of lump from my mother's breast and did biopsy. He confirmed it's cancer. I trust him but there was no sign in previous reports. He said mastectomy is required. So, we proceeded with it. Now what will be our next steps. Doctor will brief us later. He is also sending the breast

Lymph Node Transfer
Hi there! I am new to this site and looking for some advice. Since having a mastectomy and node clearance for BC almost five years ago, I developed lymphedema of the arm which has gradually got worse (almost 70% increase :-( ) I have been fortunate to be listed on the NHS for a lymph node transfer

Worry about my health and a partner
He also said he had
vasectomy
, so I don’t need to worry about being pregnant. I have never seen him lying about anything before, so I hope that this time he is also honest. The problem is I kinda trust him, so we had raw sex. But now I can’t stop worrying. Please help me what I should do. Thank you

CLINICAL TRIAL w/ ALISERTIB
After 4 cycles of Ibrance along w/ Fulvestrant injections another tumor appeared in my left breast that continues to grow. I've been following the posts and find them all helpful and inspirational. This is the first time I've posted. I had stage 1 breast cancer in 2016. A lumpectomy and 21 rounds of radiation (so it wouldn't come back). I was done, put it behind me and moved on. In March, while bathing, I noticed several
