Canadian Access to COVID-19 Treatments for Persons Living with CLL
It is a preventive treatment which protects from COVID complications in people for whom
vaccination
is not effective, people with CLL among them. 2. Eligibility is often restricted to people "under active treatment for cancer" Check the document on our website for details.

T3 only - Thyroid less.
Hi my thyroid was removed approximately 6 years ago thyroid cancer. Radioactive iodine followed straight after in a cell for 3 - 4 days and lucky I appear to be free of cancer. I have a resistance to T4 so have only ever taken T3 120 ug spread over the day. My problem is the feeling of total exhaustion

New study indicates the value of booster vaccinations and monoclonal antibody (Evusheld) protection to blood cancer patients
This study https://acsjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cncr.34354 covers a range of haematological malignancies and includes only 48 subjects with CLL, so you may feel its conclusions are a bit over-generalised. It does though corroborate the interim findings of the yet-to-be-published CLL

5th Vaccine
I have been to the
vaccination
centre this morning for my 5th vaccine who said they will not give it to me without a letter from either the GP or the hospital. I had printed all the documents from Blood cancer UK but they insisted that they are not doing 5th vaccines yet! Not happy.

Relationship between GCA / PMR and vaccinations
My problem of a very stiff neck/shoulder pain started a few months after my first flu vaccine and first covid vaccine (Pfizer). After covid vaccine no2 everything got worse and after vaccine no3 I started to get CGA symptoms. Does anyone else think that there may be a relationship between the illness

COVID_19 Vaccines and RLS
I have had 4 Pfizer Vaccines and 1 Moderna Vaccine and after every
vaccination
it has triggered off my RLS. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe it is an unnoticed side effect? I currently use 3mg/24hr Rotigotine Patches and even they struggle to help after the vaccines..

Keeping up with vaccinations.
Has anyone on the forum had this
vaccination
and did it cause any issues - I am stage 4 ckd and I read that at this stage I can only have one of two shots of this vaccine. Transplant people can't have it at all - so there is a kidney connection there. What are readers views on this subject.
