Why isn’t body identical progesterone (Utrogestan) used to treat endometriosis? Surely it could help & less side effects than synthetic.
Now I’m unfortunately experiencing the mine field of peri menopause (& had a flare up of bowel endo symptoms and pelvic pain due to being incorrectly given oestrogen only HRT) and I’ve very recently started on a daily capsule of prescribed body identical progesterone called
Utrogestan
.

What to try for final OE/OS round?
I’m on 3 x 200mg
Utrogestan
and 1 lubion a day, but today really feel like my period is on its way - my tummy has been gurgling since last night which is always a PMS sign for me, and any bloating I had post transfer has basically disappeared.

I am perimenopausal but currently using
Utrogestan
and supplementing with Menofriend which contains phytoestrogens? It has me really concerned.

Anyone used Utrogestan?
Does anyone have any experience using
Utrogestan
200mg. I start mine tomorrow AM and have to use it 3 times a day. Is it vital it is taken exactly 8 hours in between usage, I'm just trying to figure out my times to fit in with work/sleep etc.

Feeling sick on progesterone/utrogestan
I'm also on daily 0.4ml Clexane injections but I don't think this is causing the problem (not mentioned in the side effects for clexane, but for
utrogestan
).

Coming of the pill and straight on to HRT
I’m considering taking the
Utrogestan
virginally to prevent any unpleasant side effects. I will be on constant HRT as I don’t want periods. So do I take the
Utrogestan
every other night if I use it virginally? Anyone else gone straight to HRT from the pill & was it ok?

Utrogestan & natural pregnancy
Does anyone know if is possible using
utrogestan
while trying to get pregnant naturally? Because I'm over 40 and my progesterone levels should be low. Like checking my fertile day (14 day) for example and starting progesterone on day 15 till do a pregnancy test?

Utrogestan pessaries
I confirmed my pregnancy with my IVF clinic yesterday morning & they ordered my next delivery of
utrogestan
pessaries which should have been delivered today. I called the pharmacy yesterday afternoon as I hadn’t received a call from them to confirm my delivery.

Progesterone Levels - clinic refused to test
I am on 25mg lubion in the morning and 400mg
Utrogestan
in the evening. I can shake the feeling that my progesterone is low and that I have wasted yet another embryo that was never going to implant because progesterone was low. How can they be so certain my levels are fine?

Progesterone check - day or FET or day before?
Because I’ve had borderline low progesterone around transfer day in the past, we are going to add lubion 25mg to the normal
utrogestan
800mg this time and test my progesterone in this ‘dummy’ cycle to see whether this brings it up.

I thought it was thyroid but seems to be calcium deficiency
I'm 51 years old, on 112 mcg of levothyroxine, 20mcg of liothyronine and take HRT (in the form of
Utrogestan
which is progesterone capsules and Oestrogel). I'm still pretty active - still able to go hillwalking, indoor climbing, but the fatigue and depression is starting to get on top of me.

Still 'tweaking' BHRT nearly a year later
Then she asked me to use
Utrogestan
vaginally - there was a small improvement. Most recently she has told me to use 2
Utrogestan
vaginally and again there has been another improvment. But, I am still not sure that my hormones are balanced enough to enable me to lose weight.

Utrogestan Vs Cyclogest
My best friend also miscarried on
Utrogestan
and is convinced it was the cause, so her alarmist response to this has made me a bit anxious. I know I just need reassurance, so any success stories using only
Utrogestan
?
