Help needed: health, biopsy and lab contradict
Gastroenterologist decided to keep me off
Urso
to see if liver stabilizes or gets worse. Now June suddenly all lab values exploded, ggt 277, phospatase 241, Alat 200, Asat 121 worse than before 2013 when I did not have
Urso
yet. And triple from being on
Urso
. And it took the
Urso
a year to work!

Vitamin B2
I don't know if it's safe to take with
Urso
, as I read somewhere it can reduce the efficiency of certain drugs. Does anyone else out there take vitamin B2 for migraines? Does it work? Is it safe to take with
Urso
?

Not feeling great
I have never taken
urso
. in October last year I had bloods done and saw a rheumatologist due to backache and joint pains and was told that I have no other autoimmune disorders. I have had an under active thyroid for over 25 years and am on tablets for that.

Should I start URSO?
Still no symptoms but my consultant now wants me to start taking
URSO
. After reading many posts on here about the horrible side-effects I am reluctant/scared to start taking it in case I feel worse!

Pain
I have taken
Urso
off and on since then. I had lap-band surgery in 2010 and following that, I've been inconsistent in taking the meds. Thinking I really need to get back on them.... I'm just a bad patient. This pain is a little scary. Thanks in advance for your input!

Question ?
I am on prednisolone, mercaptopurine (cytotoxic cancer drug inplace of aza)
urso
, omeprazole and sometimes Questran, if I have issues with over production of bile. I am also concerned that the HRT I use might be causing problems for my liver.

Urso
Urso
has definitely improved her bloods. If it's indeed alcoholic cirrhosis, would she still have to take
Urso
indefinitely? Many thanks Tim

Is this right??
The bile ducts which are blocked cannot be treated via ERCP or any other procedure so will be getting worse depending on the effect of the
Urso
drug. The Doctor said something about managing symptoms - this means the itching etc.
