Dreaded Itch!
Hi, I was diagnosed with PBC 4 years ago and am a non-responder to
Urso
. I have taken Cholestryamine light, Gabapentin, Sertraline, Rifampicin, Fenofibrate and Naltrexone for my unbearable itching, with no relief.

Latest Labs since off OCA
And then my latest labs after being ONLY on
URSO
and off OCA. I also noticed after getting off OCA that I had more energy within a week of stopping it. My bm's returned to a normal color. And my AlkP has started to go down just a bit.

Hi everyone, I have just had a new prescription from my GP for my
urso
. I have been taking the capsules but the new ones are in tablet form. Since starting these I have been itching again and wondered if anyone else has has this problem or is it just a coincidence.

Dizziness?
Last time I went to the Walmart pharmacy to pick up my
Urso
the said this prescription came from a different lab. I have been on
Urso
2 years now and probably several different labs but this one is just awful. I got so dizzy last week my husband took me to the emergency room.

Urso Dosage.
I keep reading that
Urso
is usually 15mg per day... but my tablets are 250mg and my specialist/consultant put me on 4 a day, so 1000mg per day... I'm wondering why the vast difference? Thank you.

10 day difference in labs before and after pain medication
Not happy since my numbers have steadily been coming down for the last year taking
Urso
. Any thoughts? On another note Bili Direct raised from .0 to .1 both before and after so that's not good.

Hello all
I’ve been on
Urso
for a month now and am waiting for a fibroscan. Trying to stay positive, not always easy. Thanks for reading.

Nausea with Urso
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed 6 months ago and am taking
Urso
500 mg twice per day. It seems to be working, at least my liver labs haven't gotten worse. My question is whether anyone else has severe nausea with
Urso
.

Reacting to urso
I have been on
urso
for just over two years but around two months ago I had a adverse reaction to it and I’m now no longer prescribed it. I’m to be monitored every 6months, but now my itch is bad again especially the back of my hands and my ankles.

Fibroscan results
I was recently diagnosed, but have been deemed an
Urso
responder, but continue to worry about progression even with normal labs. :( Any insight?

He prescribed
Urso

Urso
, I have had more discomfortment than previously. No nausea or diarrhea. Has anyone had similar condition/treatment?

Knee pain
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed PBC negative, early stage, and have been taking
Urso
for 5 weeks now. For the past 2 weeks I have had a lot of pain in my knees and difficulty climbing up stairs. Is it OK to take pain killers? And does anyone take milk thistle, vitamins or turmeric?

Elevating alp/alk
Am I rejecting
Urso
or is it quitting on me? My alk elevated 20 points two months ago, now it’s 91 which is 10 points higher than last month. Still in range but elevating. How did you all/alk elevate when you learned that you are not responding anymore

Encouraging fibroscan and elastography results
I’m fortunate to be an
Urso
responder but I do also take very low dose prednisolone (for another AI disease) and I’ve wondered if that helps. There’s no evidence that it does in the in the literature though, I should add.

Little White Bumps on Chest, Shoulders, Back, Arms, Jaw etc with PBC?
I have been taking
Urso
since then and I'm currently waiting for my follow up appointment to see how I am reacting to them. I keep finding little white bumps on my skin, with what seems like tiny, hard white cores.

Urso effects
I have been in
urso
almost a month now and I noticed my stools, sorry to be so personal, seem to now have white mucus in them . Is this normal with
urso
. Why would this happen now and not before I took meds?
