Could my high TSH be resolving on its own?
My latest Blue Horizon results still show a TSH over range but it has lowered since my tests 6-7 weeks ago. This correlates to my Ferritin having risen (albeit only slightly and I am still at the low end - I have been supplementing more). Could it be that if I get my ferritin levels at optimum that my

Pregnancy after a molar pregnancy
Hi I went through a complete molar pregnancy in November and had a erpc followed by blood and urine tests. My last period started on the 31St March and lasted 4 days I was due to come on Saturday 30th April. I'm currently 4 days late with all signs pointing to pregnancy and not a period but I've done

Anyone change back to levo. from NDT.
Hi I have not posted for a while but have been popping in to read posts. Last year my G.P. reduced my dose of levo. from 125 mcg. to 100 mcg. because of my low TSH even though my T4 and T3 was not even mid range. I was feeling O.K. on 125 mcg. not brilliant but O.K. I felt that I would have benefited

Metabolic Analysis Profile (Genova Diagnositics)
Dear Everyone, I had this test some time ago by sending off a urine sample and the results came back suggesting saying that I had a high need for Vitamins B1, B2, B7, B12 and Magensium and a need for digestive support as the malabsorbtion 'markers' were out of range? I showed the results to my GP who

Doctors appointment after blue horizon results
Well I had my Doctors appointment last week after receiving my Blue Horizon results (which I previously posted on here). It went exactly as I predicted. His back was up immediately as soon as I mentioned private bloods. I had printed out a copy for him, also took a copy of Dr Tofts reports on Thyroid

Still have UTI, but progress at last, fingers crossed anyway.....
Phoned GP yesterday morning to see if my latest urine test results for a long standing UTI had arrived. The receptionist said they were not yet in the surgeries records but as rheumy ordered the test she would have a look at their records and phone me back. To cut a longish story short...to her credit

Had an appointment with my rheumatologist this morning. Some of you already know I had to stop taking mtx approx. 6 weeks ago due to a stubborn UTI. Can't go back on it either because it can cause complications with interstitial lung disease that I've recently been diagnosed with. As most RA meds can

Disappointed by Rheumy appointment yesterday. Honest opinions needed please. Sorry in advance that this is so long.
I saw my Rheumatologist yesterday and have been left frustrated yet again. It was a 9 month check. The nurse weighed me and did my blood pressure before the Rheumy called me in. She asked me how I had been and I said not good really. I had a flare up September / October 2015 and January / February

How long have I had diabetes?
For years I have had the "problem" of needing to get up to go to the toilet and pee several times during the night most nights, but never during the day till recedntly. Now it is the same 24 7, and very often I feel the urge but if I go nothing happens. A month ago I told my surgery and they did a urine

Worried
Yet another long winded stressed out post by yours truly...... Rheumy stopped my mtx 3 weeks ago when they found an infection while testing my bone marrow protein in a urine sample. I had no symptoms at the time. Lab tests showed the bug to be nitrofurantoin sensitive so was prescribed that antibiotic
