dr refusing to do full blood work . Only Tsh .
My
TSH
was initially 99.9 It’s right down now . Not quite there so I’m now onn125g Levo’ . she said it’s probably an autoimmune illness but no point testing any thing else as medication would just be the same . surely that’s not right ? No T3 or antibody tests?

Ok, I reduced my Carbimazole slowly over a month I think from 5mg daily to 2.5mg daily because
TSH

This started a year ago, I had a full blood panel with symptoms of light period, cold, tired, etc (I assumed iron deficiency) the results showed very low vitamin D and a
tsh
of 5.8 and tpo 98.

Is it ethical for GP to withdraw thyroid meds with no notice?
He doesn't understand about
TSH
suppression (mine has always been suppressed) or about the inability to convert and freely admits I know more than him on the whole subject of Thyroid.

FEET AND TOE NUMBNESS
I am hesitant at this stage to approach my GP because i know they will probably zoom straight in like a heat seeking missile on my thyroid and apply pressure to reduce dose because of my suppressed
TSH
(003 last test) as its the usual battle every 12 months when my annual Thyroid blood review is due

herbs to help anxiety
I am wondering whether to try it again but on a smaller dose to see how I feel but nervous about my thyroid issue (high
tsh
and high t4). My other option in valerian root kalms day which might calm me down a bit and I also get a headache. Is valerian root a safer option?

NHS TSH test 1 week apart from Medichecks test
So I contacted my GP and they refused to accept the private test results and requested an NHS one (
TSH
only). I did this (following all protocols again) one week later. My
TSH
is now 2.43 miu/L (0.34-5.6) Can anyone shed light on why the results might be so very different only a week apart?
