Medicheck results – help please
My GP wouldn’t let me increase to 100mg a day because he is a
TSH
guy and my level was well below the NHS guidelines. Last October my liver became ‘deranged’ all tests were out of range. My bilirubin was over 200 and I had lost 6kgs in five months.

My
tsh
only test hospital took is 1.98 in range. Range on blood test is 0.04-4 I saw cardiologist should have seen the EP but it said one of his team, he said an ablation was not really necessary as I manage my symptoms. And until my thyroid sorted I would just go back in.

Do you think I need an increase in my T4 dose???
My doc believes that as long as my
TSH
is fine, I do not need an increase but Free T4 is at its lowest range and this concerns me. Perhaps if I raise my dose, Free T4 and Free T3 will become better. If this is right how much increase per mg do I need?

Muddled re next steps with T4 and T3
My results were as follows
TSH

Blood results today from Endo are T4 23.7,
TSH
0.01. So increasing Carbazole now to 10mg twice a day.. My bloods 8 weeks ago meant I could decrease the dose but now increasing again. Have others experienced this up and down during first year of treatment?

My symptoms have been up and down over the years and I've constantly had to fight to stay on this dose as my
tsh
range has been up and down. I always feel better when my
tsh
is low.

T3 to T4 ratio - how to calculate
My FT3 was 4.31 (3.1-6.8) and FT4 was 15.5 (12-22) Additionaly
TSH
was 3.6 (0.27-4.2). It feels taht
TSH
was to high and the hormones were low? However the conversion possibly is not a problem?

Vitamins D and K7
I am in the process of arranging private blood tests after very helpful advice from members on this site, as my recent annual blood tests showed my
TSH
had risen to 2.69, from 1.5 last September. GP feels this within range, so unwilling to review my dosage of levo !

liothyronine
However my T3 levels are high (9.1) ,
TSH
0.85 and free T4 0.5. I have never been referred to an Endocrinologist but I am now considering consulting with one. I was told I needed a higher dose of meds to suppress cancer returning so I am wary of reducing my dose.

Update on Endo and WLAMS
As previously stated, in patients on combination therapy, if
TSH
is low or suppressed, free T4 or free T3 should be measured and it should be stated on the laboratory request that the patient is taking liothyronine.

High T3 and T4
Low
TSH
points to hyperthyroidism. High T3 and T4 also point to hyperthyroidism. Your numbers aren't far off, however. Guarantee that my Dr. would be in agreement with your GP. I'd just wait and have it all retested in a few months.

T4 and T3 optimal 3 hours after thyroid meds, I feel great, but suppressed TSH is throwing a spanner in the works.
Can anyone recommend any academic papers please that would help me support my case - i.e., T3 and T4 show I am not overmedicated,
TSH
less relevant? I know we all have our own personal set point. Personally, I know that when my
TSH
was only 2.87 I felt like death.

High TSH, increasing TPO antibodies, latest results!
Hi everyone! I'll be a pin cushion by the time I'm done doing these home blood tests..... So I decided to do the full health plus tpo from Monitor My Health (who currently have 20% off all their tests, annoyingly!) on Monday, results came back early this morning. I will upload screenshots rather than

Possible over treatment with Levothyroxine
TSH
6.6 in October (range 0.3-4.5) Levo was increased from 125mcg to 150mcg
TSH
<0.01 in November (same range) Free T4 36 (range 10-22) None of my tests have ever been done with fasting or pre-meds as I didn’t know about this then.
